and there was snow........ and it was good......

finally we had a decent amount of snow, enough to make a snowman and we had agreat time! David took the day off work and emma stayed home from school, you just never know when we will see snow like this again in ireland. so we made the most of it. days like these are what memories are made of.
Emma spent most of her time making snow angels, she was wet throug by the time she was done.

of course everything that emma does leah follows.

im going to get you mummy!!!

David and the girls did the snowman, i think david was having the most fun .
my snow bunnies

So it was about 8.30 in the morning and most of the kids were out on the road and having a big snowball fight and of course david was right in the middle of it.

back home with the moss's

So me and the girls went to england for the weekend. David didnt end up coming again so we missed him alot and wish he could have joinded in the fun.
We went for a walk on the sunday just to try and get the kids out and let off some steam. we all had agreat time but didnt realize how cold it was.
The girls thought it was great and emma kept with all the big boys and leah stayed in her own little world jumping in all the muddy puddles. i kept thinking when is she going to fall in one! thank goodness it never got to that!
my emma trying to keep up with the boys!

ahhh look at that!

We stayed at angelas house, i thought this would make sure that we would actually spend some time together but with six kids between us it was hard to get a minute. I miss her, our talks and laughing till you cry. one day we will be us again and i will have my best friend back!

My dad picked us up from the airport and we all had to do a second take as he had face of white fluff.... the girls thought he was santa! i love the way he is with the girls and they love him especially his pancakes. I love you dad.

my brother andrew with emma playing guitar heros. all the kids really got into it and lets just say the noise level that day was loud!

they love each other!

i love this picture! i think that their personalities are seen in it. Emma is the cool chillin one but still likes to be a lady and Leah loves to dress up and especially in mummys shoes. you can tell how much they love each other!
The girls havent really seen much snow, i had dropped emma off at school and leah was so excited to be out in the snow not that there was that much but had fun anyway! as you can see she has a her own style and wanted to wear the hairband over the hat!

blue eyes smiler

They had a sleep over with antie sarah who they love and im sure think she is the same age as them, they giggle so loud when ever they see her! its lovely.

No Santa.....SANTA NAUGHTY!

Leah wanted to be as far away as santa this year as possible, we had the shakes and she sweatted and o did she cry! i couldnt help but laugh. From that day on santa wasnt alowed to be mentioned in the house no matter how much emma tried to explain to her that he is good and will bring presents! she just kept saying no santa naughty!
wouldnt even look at him. We had a good christmas except for everyone getting sick and sleeping most of christmas. I love it more each year as the girls get older. i get so excited to see how the girls will react that i think david thinks im alittle crazy!! you would think he would be used to me by now?

halloween... bit late i know!!

carving the pumpkin was funny this year as leah wanted to help a lot more but didnt want to get her hands in the pumpkin, she did have her very own word for pumpkin which i will never forget....PUMKIPIE, dont know why but it sounded so cute!
emma got stuck in.

Leah was a cat, not that she really knew why but she looked so good and giggled the whole time i painted her face.

SUPER HERO TO THE RESCUE..... Emma had decided ages ago that she wanted to be a super hero and was so excited to get dressed up and go trick or treating.

they were already to go and had agreat time going to there neighbours and meeting up with friends, leah got scared when people came to the door in masks but emma could have kept going all night!

fun days with my girls

now we decide to get emma anew bike, now summer is over and she is at school, i knw great timing, but she loves it and the boys on our road dont call her a baby any more.
she goes out evey day after school and would stay out all night if she could. you have to love the pink tassles....

we decided to have abit of a girly day and bought them some nail varnish and they had a great time, emma was happy to paint the nails and leah kept so still, it was lovely to watch but i was kinda nervous about where the polish was going to end up, lets just say that there skin was very sparkly too.

our car must be the messiest car in the world so one day i put the messers to work and they did a great job

starting school

well it finally came, emma started school and i had been dreading it all summer. i was so worried that i had made the wrong decission and that she was too young and would cry every day, well i was half right. She loved school but hated getting dressed in the morning which if you know emma this is eventful on a normal day but when you have to put a uniform on her well it was..... whats the word.....HELL.

my sister in law sarah stayed over so she could witness the first day of school as they are very close, sarah always likes to tell me that emma was surposed to be her child.... hmmmm dont think so. anyway with sarah there it was better than i thought but as you can see she wasnt very impressed with the uniform.

once we got to school she brightened up as soon as ahe saw her friend jack who just lives across the road from us. she went in with no problems and i could breath once again, but all day i couldnt stop thinking that my little girl is in school.
3 weeks in now and she is doing great, she still has issues with the uniform and she hates something different everyday, i have to learn to egnore the crying cos i think i am going to loose it one day. David never believes me that she is so hard in the morning because whan he is home she is as good as gold..... why do they always play up for mummy? but im so proud of my BIG little girl.
